NEO Coffee Bar: Urban Cafe Retreat in Toronto

NEO Coffee Bar first opened its doors in August 2015 in the St. Lawrence Market area. Since then NEO has become more than just a coffee spot; it's a community hub, a minimalist haven, and a place where the city's hustle fades into the background. With a few locations opened around the city of Toronto. A personal favourite location opened at King and Spadina, walking distance from the bustling offices that line King street and Richmond street.

NEO Coffee Bar isn't just a place for your caffeine fix; it's an experience. Their coffee haven boasts tasteful design elements, including curvilinear concrete walls, warm wood accents, and modern furniture. The light-filled space, adorned with bench seating, pedestal tables, and spacious booths, creates an atmosphere that's both refreshing and uniquely NEO.

NEO Coffee Bar takes pride in being a local fixture, welcoming neighbour's from nearby schools and offices alike. The ethos of community permeates the air, making every visitor feel like they've found their cozy corner in the city. It's not just a coffee bar; it's your new local. If you're looking for a place to study, work, connect or just have some personal time, there is no judgement and no pressure.

NEO's menu features a variety of deserts from their irresistible Basque Burnt Cheese Cake to their Matcha Cream Cookie Choux, each dessert is a masterpiece and tastes just as good as it looks. For those craving something savory, NEO offers sandos - Japanese style sandwiches, tapas, and an array of unique beverages, including coffee, Japanese teas, and cocktails like their Lavender Sour.

NEO Coffee Bar offers combos to help you save on your visit. Whether you opt for the Cookie Combo, Muffin Combo, or the Afternoon Treat, there's a perfect pairing for every palate. A personal favourite is the Afternoon Treat - a roll cake or cheesecake with a choice of latte or matcha latte.

During my last visit, I savoured a matcha latte paired with a dark chocolate cookie, a sublime pick-me-up that fueled my workday. The tranquil ambiance, coupled with the delectable offerings, made my short break feel like a rejuvenating escape.

In the vibrant tapestry of Toronto's coffee culture, NEO Coffee Bar stands out as an urban oasis. Whether you're seeking a moment of respite, a delectable dessert, or a community to connect with, NEO welcomes you with open arms. Make it your local, let the serene aesthetics embrace you, and indulge in the perfect cup at NEO Coffee Bar.
